To successfully complete one of our courses, you will need a few things:

• Reliable internet access
• A WiFi-enabled computer or tablet (a phone is acceptable, though can make it more difficult to see the details)
• Your kit, if you purchased one (this will be sent to you upon enrollment!)
• A flat surface where you can complete your practice activities
• Someone to serve as your live model to complete the certification process

You must have the proper licensing required to practice lashing in your location to take LashBeePro's training courses. This typically means holding an active cosmetology, esthetics, or nursing license. We also recommend checking the licensure laws of the state or country where you will be practicing to ensure you will be fully compliant upon completing your course. Students actively enrolled in a cosmetology or esthetics program are welcome to enroll!

Our classic course is a great fit if you:

• Are new to the lash industry with no prior lashing experience
• Have completed some previous classic lashing training but found you still struggle with the basics
• Would like a refresher on proper lashing technique, styling, and other foundational concepts

Our volume course is a great fit if you:

• Have already earned a classic lashing certificate
• Have been lashing for at least 3-6 months and are comfortable with the foundations of healthy lashing
• Have completed some or all of a volume course but would like additional education before adding it to your service
• Would like a volume refresher or to learn additional fanning methods

At LashBeePro, we believe certificates should be awarded based on achievement, rather than for simply completing a class. For this reason, we ask you to complete a few steps in order to earn your certificate:

1. Complete the online program in full, including all knowledge checks and hands-on assignments
2. Pass the Mastery Exam with a score of 80% or higher
3. Successfully complete the Live Model Test requirements (full set application on live models)

Don't worry - we'll walk you through each step in detail so that you have everything you need to receive your certificate. You may take the exams and live model tests multiple times, until you receive a passing score.

We believe feedback is crucial for developing strong lashing habits from the start. Our experienced trainers provide feedback in a few ways:

• Evaluation of hands-on practice assignment submissions
• Invitations to meet 1 on 1 with a trainer for mentorship and coaching (exclusive to LBP trainees!)
• Detailed evaluation of your Live Model Tests

The course lessons are taught by LashBeePro co-founder, Erin.  Our team of experienced trainers manages our monthly 1:1 meetings and provides feedback on homework assignments and the Live Model Tests, as well as via email. Each of our trainers is an active master lash artist who has been lashing for at least several years and teaching for a minimum of one year. Each one has met our high education standards, including completion of our intensive educator's program. Our team of trainers is led by Ashleigh, our Director of Training, who has trained more than 500 lash artists herself!

While our course will provide you with all of the knowledge you need as a lash expert, it is up to you to complete the hands-on activities and practice required to master the technical aspects. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of our numerous opportunities to receive feedback on your work, to practice regularly, and to complete the steps to receive your certification. We find that the vast majority of students who complete these steps and make practice a priority are able to launch lash services within just a few months of completing our program. After certification, we encourage you to add the services at a “new service offering” rate to help you get as much practice as possible.

Great idea to complete your lash education while you earn your license! Cosmetology and esthetics students are welcome to enroll in a lash program simultaneously, as long as they are not practicing on paying clients until they have received their license. Friends and family as models are just fine!
